A top-tier Australian realty broker struggled to convert open house visitors into qualified mortgage leads due to a manual, slow-moving financial assessment process. Open houses are goldmines for data, but the conversion window is incredibly short. Potential buyers often feel an emotional "peak" while viewing a property, only to be met with a cold, multi-day delay for a manual financial assessment. By the time a broker called to check their eligibility, the momentum was lost. The broker needed a way to qualify leads on the spot while they were still inside the home.

THE INTERVENTION

The Instant Eligibility Engine

We designed a streamlined "Real-Time Assessment" tool specifically for agents to use on their tablets or for buyers to access via a QR code at the property. We replaced the standard, intimidating mortgage application with a "Discovery Calculator" that used Australian lending benchmarks to provide an instant, non-binding eligibility score. The flow was built on Progressive Logic: 1. Immediate Value: The user inputs 3 basic figures and sees their estimated borrowing power. 2. Smart Capture: To unlock the full property-specific breakdown, the user provides their contact details. 3. Broker Sync: The assessment is instantly pushed to the broker's CRM, categorized by "High Eligibility" for an immediate follow-up. The moment a buyer sees a "Green Light" eligibility badge for the specific property they are currently standing in, their interest transforms from "I like this house" to "I can afford this house."
